SILK/PATTU SAREE BAG

HELLO FRIENDS....
BECAUSE OF SOME PERSONAL WORKS I COULDN'T POST FOR A LONG TIME ...... AND THIS IS A USEFUL WORK I'VE DONE A WHILE BACK... A BAG FOR SILK SAREES...

saree bags
inside the beuro

MY MOM AND MOTHER IN LAW USE TO SAY THAT A THIN COTTON WHITE CLOTH IS SAFE TO STORE THE SILK SAREES... MY MOTHER IN LAW USE TO TIE ALL NEATLY FOLDED SAREES IN A WHITE DOTHIE... BUT I WANT TO PACK IN MORE COMPACT WAY.... SO THIS IS THE OUTCOME.... AND ITS VERY EASY FOR ME TO CARRY TO FUNCTIONS TOO. I USED WHITE POPLIN CLOTH.... WE CAN ALSO USE ANY COTTON DOTHIE. WE CAN DO SOME EMBROIDERY WORK IN THE COLOR OF THE SAREE FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION.

AGAIN I'M GOING TO MY MOM'S HOME FOR A WEEK.... SO MY ANOTHER POST WILL AGAIN BE LATE.

quilted handbag

Hi friends this is my first try to sew a hand bag. actually i googled a lot at last confused ... then took a tutorial from http://quiltsandcreativity.com/annabelle-purse-string-patterns/comment-page-1#comment-44865... i cant work the same pattern but i think it resembles this bag... thank you for the tutorial.. I'm sorry the stitches were not neat.
Actually this is a waste cloth after stitching a chudi..( both main fabric and also the lining) I used sponge in between. I Like to stitch more hand bags and also cellphone pouches. I'll post soon the pictures of silk cellphone pouches
