MEHENDI & KOLAM

Hello friends.....
     How was your week end .... hope all would have enjoyed it.... I think all are busy with your ongoing projects :) me too crocheting a doily... hope will finish that within this week..... and now here are some of my mehendi designs and my kolam collage. After so many years i'm drawing kolam in front of my home.... and thoroughly enjoying it :)

Hello all.... belated pongal wishes.... this pongal went so busy... I've done mostly all the works alone... especially drawing the kolam.... but this time i dont take much risk... i made it quickly with the help of 
sieve (mavu jalladai).... take a look on it....

PONGAL CELEBRATION

Hello friends... 

First of all happy pongal to all of u (it s bit late :P)... Yesterday we celebrated our pongal happily but with lotsssssss of work.... On boghi Cleaning took the whole day and the kolam took the whole evening and night till 12:30 AM. On pongal.... preparation for the nonbu took the whole day... so too tired but enjoyed.   

     But still I'm really eager to post the celebration pictures

This is the main kolam... took lot of time to finish  and  have to do alone.... except the pot, sugarcane and the border my mother in law came to help.
You know according to tamil new year its 2043 known as tiruvalluvar aandu 

center part... i loved this part but the there is difference in size... what to do?????????????

HAPPY PONGAL... HERE IS COLORFUL KOLAM

I Post my first post of this year with Festive celebration. Pongal is the Harvest festival of Tamil people. And also its our Tamil New Year..... the first day of Tamil month Thai... Its always a sweet and colorful festival..... As we have lots of villages around our town its a big festival too.... We enjoyed this pongal with Pongal and Sugarcane... and how it can  be complete without these colorful kolams... Here is our pongal kolams.........

My mother in law helped out in all the kolams.... Darwing these kolams in midnight is a painful work... yet.... its pongal... our own happy pongal...........................
