Large Catherine wheel Purse

     Hello dear ones..... last week was filled with lots of work..... marriages...... hospitals....... so no time to breath.... now again in routine work..... ready to post my another work.... This is the large Catherine wheel stitch... i love this pattern... worked a little piece... like all times it became a purse :)... I've made an easy lining to this and added a Velcro ... All is well but i couldn't get the original color in my camera... Anybody have idea to take a snap with the original color please help me.

PINEAPPLE DOILY AND SPIKE BONNET

Hello dear ones... here is my another pineapple doily.... I love this one because of its look and the easy pattern. But this doily has some ruffles i don't know..... it may be because the pattern is for the cotton thread but I've used wool thread.... So Please share if there is any idea for this problem.... anyhow... how does it look? pattern is HERE

YELLOW DOILY AND FLOWER HAIR BANDS

Hello friends.... Past one month I've been working on some doilies and in some little things using the scrap wool.... here is another doily... its very easy to work... i worked in an evening..... i loved that and this pattern tend me to do more... can expect more doilies in this pattern coz of its simplicity and takes less time.... here is the doily.... and HERE is the pattern

CROCHET TINY GIFT POUCH WITH STRINGS


CROCHET TINY GIFT POUCH WITH STRINGS
I made this a while back…. My hubby got a gold coin for a gift without a gift box…. But I don’t want to give that without packing… so I decided to make this tiny string pouch while travelling…. I’m happy with the outcome… simple but beautiful.





Here is the free pattern
·         Do a magic ring or ch 6
·         Round 1: Ch 3(count as 1st dc) & 7 dc into the ring. Total 8. Join with sl st to the 1st Ch 3
·         Round 2: 2 dc in each dc. Total 16 dc’s
·         Round 3: dc in each dc. Total 16 dc’s
·         Round 4 & 5: dc in each dc.
·         Round 6: Ch 4(1dc plus ch1) *skip a dc, dc in next dc, ch 1) repeat from. Join with sl st to the 1st Ch 3
·         Round 7: sl st to the Ch 1 space. Ch3, 4 dc in the Ch 1 space & make 5 dc in every Ch 1 space. Join with sl st to the 1st Ch 3
For strings:
          Make two Ch 25 and join these in the Ch 1 space of the pouch to use as draw string

PONGAL CELEBRATION

Hello friends... 
First of all happy pongal to all of u (it s bit late :P)... Yesterday we celebrated our pongal happily but with lotsssssss of work.... On boghi Cleaning took the whole day and the kolam took the whole evening and night till 12:30 AM. On pongal.... preparation for the nonbu took the whole day... so too tired but enjoyed.   
     But still I'm really eager to post the celebration pictures

This is the main kolam... took lot of time to finish  and  have to do alone.... except the pot, sugarcane and the border my mother in law came to help.
You know according to tamil new year its 2043 known as tiruvalluvar aandu 
center part... i loved this part but the there is difference in size... what to do?????????????

CROCHET TRIANGLE – PATTERN

Hi dear friends....
     After my 100th post this is my 1st post in this year.... You know this is a pattern.... for the first time i'm writing my own pattern :) .... Writing pattern is really a time consuming work :0.... Hats off to those who writes the patterns.... And in this new year I have a resolution to learn different stitches and to publish many posts. 
     Please give your valuable feedback for my attempt.... here is the pattern for the crochet triangle....



CROCHET TRIANGLE – PATTERN

Chain 5 join or make a magic ring

ROUND 1: Ch3(count as 1 dc) into the ring 2dc, 2ch, 3dc, 2ch, 3dc, 2ch and sl st into the 1st ch3

ROUND 3: Change color. Into the ch2 space ch3 2dc ch2 3dc, ch1, 1dc into the 2nd dc in the previous round(i.e. the centre dc) and  ch1 *(3dc ch2 3dc) in the ch 2 space(this is the CORNER CLUSTER), ch1, 1dc in the 2nd dc in round 1* Repeatagain and complete with a slst in the 1st ch3.

Likewise do a corner cluster in every corner ch2 space, ch1, 1dc in the centre dc of the previous corner clusterand ch1, 1dc in every ch1 space

Repeat this to achieve your desired size triangle

FANCY CROCHET CELLPHONE POUCHES AND TRIANGLE PURSE

Hello friends.... 
     First of all happy new year to all with a fresh rose in my garden



     I'm very much happy to post my 100th post..... Although i started my blog in December 2008 I posted a lot in 2011 I'm happy with my posts too... 
     At this time I want to thank all of you who gave me great support.... Without Ur wonderful comments there's no joy in these works.... and I'm grateful to my family for their kind love to me... I wish to travel with my blog throughout my life with all your support.... 






And this is time to show you my new works..... I learned cable stitch.... i learned this from an wonderful e-book from allfreecrochet it has step by step tutorials for different types of stitches. Another one is made of solid shell stitch. And the next one is a triangle purse... This is my own pattern. As the granny triangle pattern is like a bowl after few rounds (check my drag my button picture) i tried a new one... I my next post i'll write the pattern for the triangle.....

MY CROCHET DOILIES.......

Hi.....
     Here is my another post with some beautiful doilies..... I've tried two different doilies other than round..... see how they look....... i haven't blocked..... i should learn blocking 


PATTERN IS FROM.... HER BUT I CHANGED  A BIT  



The round doily is 16.5 inches in diameter….. The red one is also 16.5 inches without the outer curves (see the picture below) and the 12 point ripple afghan is 19.5 inches (point to point)

Actually the color is deep violet i can't get the original color in the  camera

CROCHET BAG - AFRICAN FLOWER HEXAGON

Hello friends.... here is my another bag... i made it long back but.... i was not in a mood to stitch the lining and the handle.... at last i finished it....and  here is the out come. This bag need 15 hexagons.... when i thought of the handle.... after lot of thinking ;) i this is my idea...


I learned to make the hexagon from here .... and here is the outcome....
