FANCY CROCHET CELLPHONE POUCHES AND TRIANGLE PURSE

Hello friends.... 
     First of all happy new year to all with a fresh rose in my garden



     I'm very much happy to post my 100th post..... Although i started my blog in December 2008 I posted a lot in 2011 I'm happy with my posts too... 
     At this time I want to thank all of you who gave me great support.... Without Ur wonderful comments there's no joy in these works.... and I'm grateful to my family for their kind love to me... I wish to travel with my blog throughout my life with all your support.... 






And this is time to show you my new works..... I learned cable stitch.... i learned this from an wonderful e-book from allfreecrochet it has step by step tutorials for different types of stitches. Another one is made of solid shell stitch. And the next one is a triangle purse... This is my own pattern. As the granny triangle pattern is like a bowl after few rounds (check my drag my button picture) i tried a new one... I my next post i'll write the pattern for the triangle.....

MY CROCHET DOILIES.......

Hi.....
     Here is my another post with some beautiful doilies..... I've tried two different doilies other than round..... see how they look....... i haven't blocked..... i should learn blocking 


PATTERN IS FROM.... HER BUT I CHANGED  A BIT  



The round doily is 16.5 inches in diameter….. The red one is also 16.5 inches without the outer curves (see the picture below) and the 12 point ripple afghan is 19.5 inches (point to point)

Actually the color is deep violet i can't get the original color in the  camera

I think i'm using too much yellow There are some purses and cellphone pouches in my next post

CROCHET BAG - AFRICAN FLOWER HEXAGON

Hello friends.... here is my another bag... i made it long back but.... i was not in a mood to stitch the lining and the handle.... at last i finished it....and  here is the out come. This bag need 15 hexagons.... when i thought of the handle.... after lot of thinking ;) i this is my idea...


I learned to make the hexagon from here .... and here is the outcome....

BABY SWEATER AND HAT

Hello friends... this is my second sweater... i gave this as gift before a month to my sister's new born baby girl..... the first one is still unfinished. I couldn't take pictures as i gave it in a hurry.... so i took these snaps last week when i went to see her....Along with this sweater i made hat, booties and hand covers but  i could take the pictures of sweater and hat only as the home was a mess with two kids and cant find the other two


I got the pattern for the sweater from here . I have added some more rounds and done picot stitch in the border...

SLANTING SHELL CROCHET - BAG

Hello dear ones..... here is the bag I've crocheted a while back.... i thought of stitching a lining but at last avoided the idea .... I attached this plastic handle which i got from another thorn bag..... i loved this stitch very much..... see how it looks.... ant the tutorial for this shell is here

CROCHET ROUND 2

Hello friends..... I think u all enjoyed the weekend...... Here is my another crochet round or mandala.....(previous one) I've gifted this for my neighbor friend as she asked for covering the thambula thattu..... the center portion is the same pattern of my first doily.... then extended with the usual granny style....

MY FIRST DOILY

Here is my first doily...... whenever i see ninu's works i want to crochet a doily....  in this case she is an inspiration to me.... thanks ninu.... i did this doily with white yarn..... i don't get the cotton thread in my place.... so i have to do this with normal wool threads which I get here. 


I want to start my doily work with an easy pattern.... so started with the pattern here... really its very easy one to start with.

TUNISIAN CROCHET POUCH/PURSE/DRAWSTRING PURSE

Here is my another purse.... draw string type.... I learnt Tunisian crochet a while ago with the help of a book... I tried this stitch in two pieces... So joined both and made this... This is absolutely very very easy stitch to learn..... In other countries they use a separate needle for  Tunisian crochet (same needle but lengthy)... but we can use our normal needle....

CROCHET CROCODILE STITCH BAG

Hello friends... 
     Today its raining... i love this cool climate.... that too in vellore..... Enjoying the day... at last i finished the lining for my crocodile stitch bag..... i have attached metal buttons, imitation pearls and metal squares for attaching the handles. here is the tutorial
     I loved stitching this.... it looks complicated but its very easy to work..... The thing is this will consume large amount of yarn.... but the look will be amazing.... i think u people will try this pattern.......
